Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (hashed). For services requiring billing, we may also collect your name or business name.
- Payment Information: We use Stripe, Inc. as our payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment card details, billing address, and transaction data are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We receive a tokenized reference and limited payment metadata (last four digits, card brand, expiration date) from Stripe to manage your account and purchases.
- Uploaded Content: Services such as WaveForge allow you to upload audio files, samples, and other creative content. This content is stored on our servers to provide the Service to you. You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded content.
- Communications: When you contact us via email, support forms, or other channels, we collect the content of your message and any attachments you provide.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Services, including pages visited, features used, actions taken, time spent, and navigation patterns.
- Device & Browser Data: We collect information about the device and browser you use to access our Services, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preferences, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, understand usage patterns, and improve our Services. See our Cookies and Tracking section below for details.
- Server Logs: Our servers automatically log access requests, including IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, and user agent. These logs are retained for diagnostic and security purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our Services — including processing payments, delivering purchased content, generating AI audio, hosting user uploads, and enabling account features.
- Communication: To send you transactional messages (order confirmations, account notifications, password resets), respond to your support inquiries, and send administrative information. With your consent, we may also send marketing communications about new features, products, or promotions — you can opt out at any time.
- Improvement & Analytics: To understand how users interact with our Services, identify issues and bugs, analyze usage trends, and make informed decisions about product development and feature prioritization.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful or illegal activity. This includes monitoring for suspicious patterns, verifying account ownership, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and enforceable governmental requests, and to protect our rights, property, and safety (and that of our users and the public).
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment Processors: We share payment transaction data with Stripe, Inc. to process your payments. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party cloud hosting providers (including Linode/Akamai) to store data and serve our Services. These providers have access to data only as necessary to perform their infrastructure functions and are contractually bound to safeguard it.
- Analytics Providers: We may use third-party analytics services (such as Plausible, PostHog, or similar privacy-focused tools) to understand usage patterns. Where possible, we use self-hosted or privacy-respecting alternatives. Analytics scripts are only loaded after you provide cookie consent.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: If Eddy Woods LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
Cookies and Tracking
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential Cookies: Required for the basic operation of our Services — including session management, authentication, security, and shopping cart functionality. These cookies are always active and do not require consent under applicable laws.
- Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with our Services — which pages are visited, how long users stay, and where they come from. We only set these cookies after you grant consent through our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any of our sites.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies may impair core functionality of our Services.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:
- Account Data: Retained for the life of your account. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 60 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes.

- Payment Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations.
- Server Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes, unless needed longer for an active investigation.
